We are looking for a Technical Consultant who will work with prospective customers to develop appropriate electrophysiology-based product solutions. Conduct consultative calls and build strong relationships with neuroscientists performing leading-edge brain research. Assist in providing product related feedback to the company’s engineering and manufacturing teams in order to continually develop new products and enhance existing products and responsible for providing outstanding customer support. Assist with the development of technical content for product presentations or other materials and develop technical proposals. Demonstrate use of electrophysiology and related equipment to customers or distributors. Select electrophysiology products, systems, or services for customers based on experimental requirements, scientific objectives, price, or other factors. Customize electrophysiology products or services to meet customer needs. Explain technical product or service information to customers. Assist with development of marketing or strategic plans for the company. Generate electrophysiology customer leads to develop new accounts by sending emails, making phone calls, and attending conferences. Identify potential customers. Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, or presentations for potential solar customers. Provide customers with information such as quotes, orders, sales, shipping, warranties, funding options, and incentives available. Requires M.S. degree in Neurobiology and understanding of academic research including neuroscience or neural engineering fields; knowledge of electrophysiology in small and large animals as well as human research subjects; programing skills with Matlab, C++ or Python; familiarity with electrical circuitry and components.
